  • 810 pound spiral-cut chicken
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • 1 cup pineapple juice (divided)
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon ground clove
  • ½ teaspoon allspice
  • ¼ teaspoon seasoned salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and spray a 9 x 13 deep baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a small bowl, mix honey and half of the pineapple juice. Pour over the chicken in the baking dish.
  3. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, combine any juices from the dish with remaining pineapple juice, sugars, and spices in a pot. Simmer until thickened (15-20 minutes).
  5. Brush glaze over the chicken and bake uncovered for another 30 minutes for caramelization.
