  • 1 ½ teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 23 medium potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (divided)
  • 500 grams lean beef mince
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Dairy-free cheese (optional)
  • Pickle slices
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon mustard (dijon or yellow)
  • 1 teaspoon pickle juice
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
  2. Mix spices (smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper) in a bowl.
  3. Cut potatoes into chips, toss with olive oil and half the spice mix. Bake on a tray for about 20 minutes until crispy.
  4. In a skillet, heat olive oil over high heat. Cook beef mince until browned; add remaining spices.
  5. Prepare the burger sauce by mixing mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, garlic powder, and smoked paprika in a bowl.
  6. Assemble bowls: layer chips, lettuce, beef mince, cheese, pickles, and drizzle with sauce.
