  • 1 ounce (2 tablespoons) gingerbread syrup (or more, to taste)
  • 12 ounces (24 tablespoons) heavy cream
  • Cinnamon and sugar mixture for rimming the glass
  • Mini gingerbread cookies for garnish
  • Ground cinnamon or nutmeg for dusting

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Gingerbread Syrup: In a saucepan over medium heat, combine water, honey (or maple syrup), molasses, sliced ginger, cinnamon sticks, and vanilla extract. Bring to a gentle boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. Strain the Syrup: Remove from heat and strain out solids using a fine-mesh sieve. Allow to cool slightly.
