  • 1 box favorite cake mix
  • 1 3.4 oz box instant pudding mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup frosting
  • Candy melts (for coating)
  • Toppings (sprinkles, candy eyes)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 13 x 9 pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, water, and oil until smooth. Pour into the pan.
  3. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  4. Once cooled, crumble the cake into a large bowl and mix in frosting until well combined.
  5. Form mixture into balls about an inch in diameter and chill for at least two hours until firm.
  6. Melt candy melts in short intervals until smooth. Dip one end of each stick into the melts and insert into the chilled balls.
  7. Once set, dip each pop fully into melted candy melts and decorate with your choice of toppings.
