Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Tilapia fillets (approx. 46 oz each)
  • 1 lb Fresh Green Beans (trimmed)
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter (or olive oil for dairy-free)
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 large Lemon (juiced and sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1/4 cup Chicken Broth or white grape juice
  • Salt and Black Pepper to taste
  • Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
  • Fresh Parsley or Dill (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients: Thaw and pat dry the tilapia fillets. Trim green beans and mince garlic.
  2. Sauté the green beans in olive oil over medium-high heat until bright green and tender, about 4-6 minutes. Remove them from the skillet.
  3. Add more olive oil if necessary, then sear the tilapia fillets in the same skillet until golden brown on both sides.
  4. Create the sauce by lowering the heat, adding butter, minced garlic, and optional red pepper flakes until fragrant. Stir in chicken broth or white grape juice and fresh lemon juice.
  5. Return the tilapia and green beans to the skillet, adding lemon slices. Simmer gently until everything is cooked through.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley or dill.
