  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg until well combined. Reserve 2 tablespoons for brushing later.
  3. Stir in chopped pecans until they are evenly coated.
  4. Unroll the crescent dough into triangles on the prepared baking sheet. Spoon about 2 to 3 tablespoons of pecan filling onto the wide end of each triangle and roll towards the narrow end.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 8 minutes until set. Brush with reserved sugar mixture and bake for an additional 5 minutes until golden brown.
