  • 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 cup shortening (plant-based butter or dairy butter)
  • 1 cup confectioners sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare your workspace by cleaning mixing bowls and utensils.
  2. Measure all ingredients precisely using a kitchen scale.
  3. Sift almond meal and powdered sugar together in one bowl.
  4. Heat sugar and water until dissolved; whip egg whites until soft peaks form.
