  • 45 Bone-In Chicken Thighs
  • 2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tsp Fresh Thyme
  • 2 tbsps Fresh Rosemary, chopped
  • 4 tbsps Salted Butter
  • 3/4 cup Apple Cider
  • 1/2 cup Chicken Broth or white grape juice
  • 2 tbsps Dijon Mustard
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 1 Red Onion, sliced
  • 12 Honeycrisp Apples, sliced
  • Olive oil, Salt, Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Season chicken thighs with onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, thyme, and rosemary.
  3. Sear the seasoned chicken in a hot skillet with olive oil until golden brown.
  4. Add sliced red onions and Honeycrisp apples around the chicken in the pan.
  5. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Prepare the sauce by combining butter, apple cider, chicken broth (or grape juice), Dijon mustard, and minced garlic in the same skillet over medium heat.
  7. Whisk until thickened and return chicken and apples to the pan before serving.
