  • 250g powdered sugar, sifted

Instructions

  1. Warm the milk until lukewarm. Combine it with sugar and yeast; let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk eggs and salt. Gradually stir in the milk mixture, then add flour. Mix until combined.
  3. Incorporate softened butter to form a soft dough and knead on a floured surface until smooth.
  4. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm spot for about 1 hour or until doubled.
  5. Meanwhile, melt butter in a pan and cook diced apples with sugar, cinnamon, and salt until tender.
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread softened butter on top, sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon mixture, then evenly distribute the apple filling.
  7. Roll tightly from one edge to another, slice into individual rolls, place in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) while rolls rise. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. For frosting, beat cream cheese and butter until creamy; gradually mix in powdered sugar and whipping cream until smooth. Drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
